If it isn't black and white (a standard silver halide print), then it's the result of spilled chemicals and other bad habits in the darkroom. (Some days I think the smoldering molten amber color you can tease out of Kodak RC paper is ineffable; other days, it's just brown. Likewise Ilford FB's misfixed pinks.)
